The new AKC FitDog program is a well-rounded, basic introduction to fitness for the pet and performance dog. Each level consists of 6 hours of instruction and teaches how to do the exercises with your dog and why the skills are important for a dog’s health and longevity. Heather is certified to teach all levels of the AKC FitDog program and can also test for AKC CGC if requested.
The AKC FitDog program can be taught as a weekly group class consisting of 6-hour classes. It can also be done as a full-day seminar or broken into two 3-hour sessions. At the end of each session, the team is tested and titled if they pass.
